Without distributing the grounds evenly, you can get whats known as a doughnut extraction, where the water runs faster around the outside of the Portafilter that it does through the middle. Our precision-designed WDT tool helps evenly distributes coffee grounds around the Puck and breaks up clumps, ensuring you consistently pull even and well balanced extractions.
